Alex Burger - LIVE at Quai des Brumes (CD)

The album was recorded live at Quai des Brumes in December 2021. Released on May 20, 2022.

On December 14, we were at Quai des Brumes to give a free concert. I felt like going back to point A, to this bar that offered us so many sounds and drinks. The day after, we learned that the entire band had contracted COVID-19, as well as the majority of the audience. The party is over! As the guy who gives himself the go said.

One evening during lockdown, Guyaume Robitaille sent me recordings of the evening, telling me that the whole show had been recorded. He decided to do a mastering without my knowledge. Normally, I don't like to hear a show again, but on this recording I felt something. I didn't know what it was yet, but it was there.

I joked, “Let’s get this out right away!” This record is unfiltered and unretouched.
